Bhikkhus, for direct knowledge of lust, 5 things are to be developed. What 5?

1) The perception of unattractiveness,
2) the perception of death,
3) the perception of danger,
4) the perception of the repulsiveness of food, and
5) the perception of non-delight in the entire world.

- For direct knowledge of lust, these 5 things are to be developed.

Bhikkhus, for direct knowledge of lust, 5 things are to be developed. What 5?

1) The perception of impermanence,
2) the perception of non-self,
3) the perception of death,
4) the perception of the repulsiveness of food, and
5) the perception of non-delight in the entire world.

1) The perception of impermanence,
2) the perception of suffering in what is impermanent,
3) the perception of non-self in what is suffering,
4) the perception of abandoning, and
5) the perception of dispassion.

1) The faculty of faith,
2) the faculty of energy,
3) the faculty of mindfulness,
4) the faculty of concentration, and
5) the faculty of wisdom.

2) the power of energy,
3) the power of mindfulness,
