Bhikkhus, there are these 2 kinds of fools. What 2?

One who takes responsibility for what does not befall him and one who does not take responsibility for what befalls him.

- These are the 2 kinds of fools.

Bhikkhus, there are these 2 kinds of wise people. What 2?

One who takes responsibility for what befalls him and one who does not take responsibility for what does not befall him.

Bhikkhus, there are these 2 kinds of fools. What 2?

One who perceives what is unallowable as allowable and one who perceives what is allowable as unallowable.
